May 21 thru 23rd Ellensburg National Western Art Show Ellensburg, Washington Ellensburg Kittitas County Fairgrounds Open to the public, plenty of free parking and a great show. May 28th and 29th Historic Ritzville Days Western Art Show Ritzville, Washington A show located in the heart of old town Ritzville, right there along I 90 (yes, there is an Old Town, not just a Perkins, gas stations, and the new motels.) So many of your favorite northwest Western artists, and the Cowboy Cartoonists are well represented, live western music and poetry, and a quick draw right down the middle of the street. Okay, last year there was an artist quick draw and a shootout, too. This is a relatively new show, and trust me, one you won't want to miss having on your calender. We have a ball, you will, too. June The gallery will be open nearly all the time, but I would advise calling just to make sure I am out of the barn and garden. 208 265 9613 July 4th Open House and Barbecue Potluck celebrating the Official opening of the Sculpture Garden. The meat comes off the fire about noon, everybody is welcome to join us. July 23, 24, 25, 26th The Event at Rebecca Farms Kalispell, Montana. An equine event that is new to me this year. I'll be there with as much work as I can get on the truck. September 23,24, 25, 26th North Idaho International Draft horse and Mule Show Bonner County Fairgrounds, Sandpoint, Idaho The barns and vendor displays are open to the public, the show classes have a grandstand ticket. But just standing around watching the teams go by is a full show in itself. Each year more fine western artists set up in the Exhibition Hall, Bonnie Shields has a free collector's print as long as they last. There is a parking fee, small, and the money I think goes to our Search and Rescue. October 8,9,10th Celebration of Western Art Puyallup, Washington At the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Free to the public, and lots of close free parking. Art auction in the evenings and quickdraws, too. Special guest this year, go on-line and check it all out. You know this is a good show.
